  1. Software Engineer II - Platform Team
    September, 2021 - Present
    As a member of the Transcend platform team, I:
    • Create full stack features on our Admin Dashboard, like our new dashboards view.
    • Resolve customer issues, bugs, and feature requests across the product.
    • Work across the stack, building new API endpoints, database migrations and mutations, and frontend components/pages with React.

  2. Software Engineer (HMC Clinic)

    As a member of the Harvey Mudd Clinic team, I:
    • Work to coordinate between members of the Harvey Mudd and Desmos teams, as team project manager, to embed task management and agile practices into our workflow.
    • Use primarily Typescript to help Desmos to create developer tools, IDE enhancements, and new language functionality for their educator-facing scripting language ‘Computation Layer’.

  3. Software Engineer Intern

    Note: This internship was cut short due to the unexpected cancellation of my team’s project.

    Building powerful electric VTOL aircraft, and advanced AI to power them, Kitty Hawk hopes to to create the next generation of vehicles for everyday flight.

    As a Software Engineering Intern, I:
    • Remotely interviewed and joined the UPS team of the flyer project to develop software which monitored the system health of the vehicle in flight.
    • Used C++, Python and the ROS stack to develop software which interfaced between all of the different embedded devices within the flyer and a central linux flight computer.

  4. Project/Product Management Intern
    May, 2019 - September, 2019

    Founded in 2014, MagicLinks is the fastest-growing video influencer platform, powering social commerce for tens of thousands of the world’s leading digital artists.

    Working as a Product and Project Manger, I:

    • Contributed to over 50 internal projects and led 10 through from beginning to end.

    • Actively participated in monthly meetings with the CEO and team leads to determine what new tech projects the company would pursue in the coming month.

    • Helped oversee a team of 5 developers, participating in daily team status calls and solo-leading over 30 of them.

    In this full-stack project, I created a time series analytics graph and accompanying API routes.

  2. January, 2021

    The Harvey Mudd Clinic program allows students in their senior year to work on a solutions to real-world, technical problems for industrial clients. My clinic project was with Desmos, a free math education platform. Our Goal: To make their teacher-facing scripting language, Computation Layer, easier to use for teachers and the internal Desmos activity team by implementing a series of new Language Features, IDE enhancements, and Overall Usability Features.

    I worked on this project as part of my internship at MagicLinks. The idea was to have a way for potential users (and current ones) to be able to predict how much income they could be making on the platform. I was in charge of the project from conception to completion, working both as the project and project manager.
